COVID-19 Announcement

In light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak we want to reassure our community, clients, staff, volunteers, and donors that we are remaining vigilant about continuing to provide the best unplanned pregnancy support and medical care.

We are taking the following precautions for in-person appointments:

  • Both clinics are open for in-person appointments (scheduled and walk-in) for unplanned pregnancy services during normal business hours.
  • Client appointments shall be scheduled to allow sufficient time for disinfection procedures in between clients. We are practicing the same hand-washing and hospital grade sanitation procedures as always, and we are thoroughly disinfecting and sanitizing each surface before and after each client.
  • Clinical staff will wear masks and necessary protective gear.
  • For the health and safety of our clients, all persons seeking services from WNLC shall be screened for COVID-19.
    • If a person answers “Yes” to any of the COVID-19 screening questions, they should be courteously advised that WNLC is not equipped to screen or handle potentially infectious diseases at this time and they should be referred to the emergency room at the local hospital for services or to an agency designated to handle potential COVID-19 patients.
    • If a person answers “No” to the COVID-19 screening questions and is seeking essential medical services (i.e. services necessary to make an informed decision about pregnancy), an appointment shall be made, and the client will be re-screened and her temperature shall be taken prior to entering the clinic. She will be asked to wear a mask from home before entering WNLC.
    • WNLC staff will be screened with COVID-19 questions and temperature taken prior to beginning work shift. Staff who can work from home are doing so. We are asking for any of our staff who are sick or have family members who are sick to stay home.

*Telehealth appointments remain available for most services.*
