His Experience

Abortion can affect men on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level as well. When a man makes a decision to abort, believes that he has no say-so in a woman’s decision, or is not included in the abortion decision, his experience of loss can be felt in a number of ways. “The few published studies concerning men suggest that, like women, men may experience grief, anxiety, guilt, helplessness, and anger.”

Our counseling is offered to men who are grieving a loss from abortion. Many men do not know that they have a place that will provide the support to grieve their loss effectively. Our counselors provide a compassionate and respectful approach that facilitates the healing process.
