About
Family Planning / Fertility Instruction
Manage your fertility the natural, empowering way.
Woman’s New Life Clinic offers fertility instruction at both its New Orleans and Baton Rouge locations.
Whether your desire is to avoid pregnancy, achieve pregnancy, or monitor your fertility, the Creighton Model FertilityCare System (CrMS), the Family of the Americas Ovulation Method, and FEMM (Fertility Education & Medical Management) are systems of natural fertility regulation that help you realize any of these goals. The methods rely on the standardized observation and charting of biological markers that tell a woman or couple when they are naturally fertile or infertile. These biomarkers also identify abnormalities in a woman’s health. Fertility instruction provides an “authentic language” that, with a few minutes of daily observations, provide a woman with incredible insight into the function of her body.

Out of Town Clients
You can still chart with us even if you live out of town! If you are interested in learning the Creighton Model FertilityCare System, the Family of the Americas Ovulation Method, or FEMM but do not live in the New Orleans or Baton Rouge areas, do not get discouraged. We gladly welcome anyone that lives outside of these areas. Long distance learning involves traveling to the first meeting, which is a slide presentation, and then subsequent meetings may be held over the phone.
If you are located too far from New Orleans or Baton Rouge, there are Creighton FertilityCare Centers located throughout the United States. You can search for a Practitioner at www.fertilitycare.org.
Long Distance Follow-up Information
On the day of the scheduled follow-up, the client must email a picture of her chart to her practitioner. This can be done by scanning the chart or photographing it. It is best if each side of the chart can be scanned or photographed separately. When photographing, it is best if the chart is placed on a flat surface and the picture is taken directly over the chart, as opposed to at an angle. This makes it easier for your practitioner to see and to correctly read your chart with you. For the follow-up, please have your chart and stamps, user manual, picture dictionary, and a red pen.
