Development Director, Baton Rouge

Woman’s New Life Clinic invites applications for a full-time Development Director, based out of our Baton Rouge office. This position oversees all aspects of fund development within the organization. Works with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Development Department staff to ensure sufficient funds to realize Woman’s New Life Clinic’s capital and programmatic goals and objectives, including fundraising, grants management, donor database management, and corporate and individual donor solicitations. Lives in the Baton Rouge community.

Qualifications: College degree; previous experience in fundraising/grant and proposal writing; excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to prepare funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner; strong interpersonal and speaking skills conducive to networking, building relationships and making presentations; self-motivated individual, detail-oriented, organized, and a strong team player; high level of energy and time commitment for demanding events including some weekend and evening hours; knowledge and expertise in database systems, tracking donors, analyzing data; proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to maintain accurate records, databases, reporting, etc.; demonstrates commitment to the organization’s mission, vision, core operational values, and core beliefs; CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credential preferred but not required

Compensation: This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.

Part-Time Professional Counselor, New Orleans

Woman’s New Life Clinic invites applications for a part-time professional counseling position in our New Orleans office. Applicants must demonstrate proficiencies in providing crisis counseling, assessment, counseling and intervention services specific to women and couples experiencing crisis pregnancy, post-traumatic stress, grief and/or depression following an abortion or pregnancy loss, adoption questions, fertility concerns, and other related behavioral and emotional issues. Applicant must be willing to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a mental health related field (psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation counseling) with at least one year experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently), Licensure in counseling field with two or more years of clinical experience working with women.
