Community Outreach Coordinator, Baton Rouge

Woman’s New Life Clinic invites applications for a Community Outreach Coordinator in our Baton Rouge office. The main responsibilities of the Community Outreach Coordinator are to organize two annual fundraising events as well as coordinate fundraisers at local Churches. Additional responsibilities include managing development volunteers as well as cultivating and maintaining relationships with schools and organizations for gifts, tours, partnerships, and awareness-building.

Qualifications: Two years with a non-profit or success in marketing, sales, or event planning; proficiency in Microsoft; highly organized and detail oriented; must be able to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task while keeping track of others; exceptional communication and time management skills; ability and desire to work cooperatively and professionally with staff and donors; ability to treat others with compassion, respect, honesty, and integrity; good judgment with a willingness to seek assistance when needed; willingness to demonstrate commitment to the organization’s mission, vision, core operational values, and core beliefs.

Compensation: This is a salaried position with benefits.

Professional Counselor, Baton Rouge

Woman’s New Life Clinic invites applications for a part-time professional counseling position in our Baton Rouge office. Applicants must demonstrate proficiencies in providing crisis counseling, assessment, counseling and intervention services specific to women and couples experiencing crisis pregnancy, post-traumatic stress, grief and/or depression following an abortion or pregnancy loss, adoption questions, fertility concerns, and other related behavioral and emotional issues. Applicant must be willing to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a mental health related field (psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation counseling) with at least one year experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently), Licensure in counseling field with two or more years of clinical experience working with women.
