Your kindness provides a wide range of life-affirming care for women in need, even beyond pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and professional counseling. Below are some questions we’ve received about how we help women in need:

Q – Do you provide material support?

A – Yes! We have a closet of baby supplies in both clinics. While our primary focus is to provide the professional emotional and medical support a woman needs, a diaper bag full of diapers and wipes or sometimes even a stroller can help a mother feel prepared and excited for the birth of her child. Because of you, we’re here to ease the stress a mother may feel when facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Q – Do you provide a home for women?

A – Our professional counselors pay special attention to all the needs of our clients, and it does sometimes happen that a client has no home or is in an abusive relationship and needs to find a safe place. Our counselors will help these clients by connecting them with the resources they need, often making phone calls with them to find safe housing and stability.

This was the case for a recent client, Makayla*. When Makayla came to us with her unplanned pregnancy, she was homeless and felt like getting an abortion was her only choice. Our professional counselor was able to help her to find the peace, healing, and strength she needed to choose life and also connected her with resources to help her find a home. “Y’all saved my life,” she expressed to our counselor.

Q – Are you speaking to parent groups? Some girls think they will be cast out or unloved—parents need to also get the message that love and support can prevent it coming to this.

A – Families of both the mother and the father are welcome to receive professional counseling at Woman’s New Life Clinic. We recognize the value of family support when a young girl is struggling with a decision regarding her unplanned pregnancy. We are here to help everyone involved process this change in their lives.
